There is evidence that this plant was already cultivated 8000 years before Christ in what is now Peru. It is a plant whose cotton is used by indigenous people to weave hammocks, for example. Parts of this plant are used for its healing qualities. <\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: Alegreya; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Red cotton is a remedy for prostate, bladder, uterus and kidney disorders. It is also an excellent remedy for menstrual pains, urinary tract infections (cleanses bladder and urinary tract) and helps the body to diuretise (expel fluid). <\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: Alegreya; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is a traditional natural remedy for uterine infections.
